A Real E-Commerce Home Biz

"WE GET PAID FOR BRINGING VALUE TO THE MARKETPLACE" JIM ROHN

Sometimes life happens and you unexpectedly hit a rough patch. You may be looking for a job after being gainfully employed for many years and are unsure of how to get by. Did you ever think about working from home? By following the advice in this article, you can start setting your own hours in no time at all.

It is important that you remain employed during the early stages of your new business. It may take awhile to make any money, so do not give up your day job. If you have money before you start you will always be ready for the next new thing.

Set goals you want to achieve daily. Make sure that your goals are reachable and attainable to reduce the chances of failure. Set boundaries if you are working out of your home so your family will respect your work and time.

Find the niche for your business. Locate the type of customers who fit well with the products you sell. Once this is done, selling will no longer be a difficult task. Talk to people you know about their thoughts on your niche. Next, request referrals. Go to trade shows or conventions to learn more about your niche.

The initial investment required to start your home business should be calculated well in advance of starting the company. It takes less funds to begin a work from home business, but do not forget that there are still financial considerations. Determining your operating costs up front will keep you from losing money in the end.

Starting and maintaining a home business can be rewarding but challenging at the same time. There are many "money games" that promote themselves as home businesses but a genuine home business should be in a real business niche with direct sales of real products or services. The MLM business model gives the average home business entrepreneur the "leverage" to create passive residual income from the efforts to build a team of business associates and partners involved in the business.

Despite the hype of many barely legal pyramid schemes, no one can make money for "free". All legitimate businesses require some monetary "investments" in harmony with the old adage "it takes money to make money".

A strong business niche is e-commerce especially when more and more persons are buying online, essentially using brick and mortar stores as "showrooms" to look at merchandise before buying the merchandise online. Even used merchandise can be sold online just as easy as from your garage. The best deals and discounts are found on the Internet today. A home business revolving around saving money is a solid foundation for a home business.

Affiliate marketing is the most cost effective and least expensive way to start a home business because many of the tools and resources necessary for the business are provided by the online business you promote as an affiliate.

A great home business opportunity in the e-commerce niche is the one featured in this blog, SFI, the affiliate program and marketing system for the e-commerce site, TripleClicks.com. SFI supplies extensive and on going training and support for all it's affiliates for absolutely free. Reward points are even given affiliates to learn and apply the business building techniques necessary to succeed with your SFI home business. Simply doing some "transfer buying" of products from your TripleClicks "store" and/or purchasing the alternative "T-Credits" currency to use in buying  or listing products with TripleClicks is all that is needed to to build a solid home based business with a global sixteen year old online company, Strong Future International (SFI).

MLM And The Human Touch

"WE GET PAID FOR BRINGING VALUE TO THE MARKETPLACE" JIM ROHN

There are a few basic but critical things that you will need in order to grow your network marketing business successfully. The problem is, many people who have been in the industry have no idea about some of these concepts.

That is because they have come from the idea that people need no real skills to do this, just make a list of everyone you know, and lead with your product and opportunity, they will sell themselves!

Well, the problem here for one thing is with the term ‘sell’. People hate to be sold. What you really want to do is qualify your leads, so that you are speaking with a more targeted audience of entrepreneurs who are interested in working a business to create their fortune.

To truly break from the pack and achieve your ultimate goal, passive residual income, you need to do:

1. Aquiring leads

2. Following up

3. Relationship building

4. Sponsoring and

5. Training

While the masses have seemed to put all of their faith into systems to do numbers 1 and 2, there is no reason that people cannot use offline and online methods combined to acquire leads and follow up. As a matter of fact, even the most seasoned email marketer will tell you that it’s not so much about the size of the list anymore but of your relationship with your list.

Having leads, traffic and a list are important elements in building an MLM home business but it is what we do with those leads,, traffic and list that makes all the difference. Having a successful MLM home business requires real leadership. It helps if the affiliate program we are promoting has a system of training and support in place but nothing takes the place of the "human touch". Personal communication either face to face, Skype, phone or e-mail is essential in building our MLM home business. The "e-mail blasters" may get us a million visitors to our sites but it will take some one on one "face time" to build a down line of active and committed business partners.  We must get our list then work our list with a good autoresponder and with your human heart touching another human heart possessing the mutual desire of being  successful MLM home business entrepreneurs.

The MLM Servant Leader

The critical step in building an MLM home business is effective sponsoring. Having acquired leads and followed up on those leads we must become good sponsors, making ourselves available for help and encouragement. to those we have sponsored. To be the best sponsors we can be we must be trained ourselves before we can train others. If we don't know the answers we need to know who does, preferably someone in our own upline. Relationships with our upline is just as important as relationships with our downline. Being a good sponsor is being a "servant leader" in our network marketing home business.

The Employee Mindset

Overcoming The Employee Mentality We Were Brought Up To Expect

But, how many of us were raised to get out there, start a business, and be 100% accountable for the bottom line?
I can tell you that I sure wasn’t raised that way. The idea of doing something so risky… so crazy… was not even a consideration.
That is why I personally found affiliate marketing to be difficult – the mindset shift. Getting things straight in my mind was very challenging for me, especially when I first started out.
Well-meaning friends and family would ask things like, “You’ve been doing this online thing for a weeks now, so why can’t you pay your bills with it yet?”
Ugh!
When you are stuck in employee-mindset mode, those types of questions are horrible and defeating… and it’s hard to handle that. Those questions lead to feelings of (dare I say it)  failure and are very de-motivational. In fact, I know plenty of people who have quit affiliate marketing because they were not living up to the expectations of those around them who spoke from an employee-mindset.
Once I started reading and learning from those that lived outside the employee-mindset, things got tremendously easier for me. Sure, the learning curve is challenging and the changes online fly at me each day at an amazing rate, but that is not the hard part.
The hard part, for me, was learning to change my mindset to accept that this is what it’s like to be a business owner. That change in mindset was freeing… empowering even… and things suddenly became much easier.
Starting a home based business as an affiliate marketer is not the same as starting a job as an employee. In one to four weeks you have your first check for just showing up to work and working eight to sixteen hours a day. As a home based entrepreneur you probably won't make a dime the first month as an affiliate marketer. The "instant gratification" mindset of the employee will not serve the affiliate marketer very well at all. There is no financial "instant gratification" for the home based entrepreneur. However time is on the side of the affiliate marketer who stays committed and puts forth consistent effort to build his or her network marketing business. Employees will never have ""residual income" being able to make more money only if their employer gives them a pay raise. Once the network marketing entrepreneur builds an active downline of a few committed entrepreneurs like themselves the "sky is the limit" when it comes to the financial gain from network marketing "residual income". To be a successful affiliate marketer and home business entrepreneur let go of the "employee mindset".

Keep High Standards And The Money Will Follow

With thousands of Network Marketing companies opening their doors every day, it’s extremely important to make sure that you align yourself with one that will be mutually beneficial for both you and the company you partner with.
After carefully observing the trends of the fly by night companies versus those that have a strong and solid reputation with a long term vision for growth and success for their Reps, I have put together a 5 Point Checklist that you must use BEFORE signing up with any company.
1.Company / Vision
2.Leadership / Upline
3.Systems
4.Product
5.Compensation Plan
(Please read website full article)

Choosing the right home business opportunity, affiliate or traffic program is very important. There is a valid criteria for judging what is a good program and what is not. The company vision, training and support really matter if you want to succeed with any program. The system of advertising or marketing should be a well defined, doable and duplicateable. The product or service the program provides must have a real stand alone value to you and others and the program compensation plan should be simple and sensible.  Keep high standards for the programs you support and the money will follow.
