The MLM Servant Leader

"We get paid for bringing value to the marketplace" (Jim Rohn)

There are a few basic but critical things that you will need in order to grow your network marketing business successfully. The problem is, many people who have been in the industry have no idea about some of these concepts.

That is because they have come from the idea that people need no real skills to do this, just make a list of everyone you know, and lead with your product and opportunity, they will sell themselves!

Well, the problem here for one thing is with the term ‘sell’. People hate to be sold. What you really want to do is qualify your leads, so that you are speaking with a more targeted audience of entrepreneurs who are interested in working a business to create their fortune.

To truly break from the pack and achieve your ultimate goal, passive residual income, you need to do:

1. Acquiring leads

2. Following up

3. Relationship building

4. Sponsoring

5. Training

The critical step in building an MLM home business is effective sponsoring. Having acquired leads and followed up on those leads we must become good sponsors, making ourselves available for help and encouragement. to those we have sponsored. To be the best sponsors we can be we must be trained ourselves before we can train others. If we don't know the answers we need to know who does, preferably someone in our own upline. Relationships with our upline is just as important as relationships with our downline. Being a good sponsor is being a "servant leader" in our network marketing home business.
