Win Win E-Commerce.

There are scores of e-commerce sites on the Web today many of them with affiliate programs. One great e-commerce site is TripleClicks with it's affiliate program SFI. Like most e-commerce sites with affiliate programs you make money with every purchase from your e-commerce affiliate site, even your own purchases. Generally the affiliate compensation plan gives profit sharing with upgraded affiliates based on some sort of points system. I like to call such e-commerce affiliate compensation plans, "win-win e-commerce" because every purchase you, your referrals or customers make benefits you financially.

When it comes to affiliate programs few give the quality of training and tools that SFI provides absolutely free. The SFI system is so thorough no autoresponder is needed for your referrals and the SFI system is constantly prompting it's affiliates to do the things necessary for online and offline marketing success and the amazing thing is SFI pays for the activity it's affiliates do to better themselves.

If you have the qualities or the desire to be a "servant leader" and build a home business in the e-commerce niche with this fifteen year old affiliate program than by all means go to  www.sfi4.com/12299200/first for more information.

Affiliate Marketing Pros And Cons

The good thing about Affiliate Networking is that you can earn income from group effort and group sales volume. You don’t have to rely only on your own efforts. The fact is you have only so much time, only so many resources and the ability to contact only so many people.

If you expand your network, on the other hand, you can multiply your time, your resources and your market reach exponentially. It may take time, effort and patience to build your network but if you stay focused and committed, it will happen and you will be rewarded.

The bad thing about Affiliate Networking is that many people who join your network will do very little to build their business and many will fall away. The problem is they are looking for the fast way, or they are expecting somebody else to do it for them.

The fact is, unless your marketing skills are already fine-tuned, there is no fast way. It takes time to learn the business, time to apply what you learn, and patience to keep applying it until the results start to flow. The other thing is nobody is going to do it for you. Leaders and coaches will show you the way, teach you the recommended marketing methods and encourage you along the way, but ultimately you’ve got to jump in, take control of your business and do what must be done.

The ugly thing about Affiliate Networking is that even when you find dedicated workers who become leaders in your network, they sometimes decide to leave your affiliate opportunity and go to a different one. And when they do, they sometimes influence others in your network to follow them, creating a gap in the network and in your monthly income.

The affiliate marketing business model is the best way to build a home business but that is not to say that affiliate marketing does not have it's drawbacks. Most of the persons yo sponsor into your affiliate marketing program won't do a thing with it and there is also the risk that among those who do become an active and productive part of your affiliate marketing downline may leave and take more of your downline with them. That's just the "nature of the beast" when it comes to an affiliate marketing home business entrepreneur. Be the best promoter and coach you can be to all you sponsor and don't worry about anything else. The odds are good you will make significant income in your affiliate marketing home business by just being the best you can be.

The Employee Mindset

Overcoming The Employee Mentality We Were Brought Up To Expect

But, how many of us were raised to get out there, start a business, and be 100% accountable for the bottom line?
I can tell you that I sure wasn’t raised that way. The idea of doing something so risky… so crazy… was not even a consideration.
That is why I personally found affiliate marketing to be difficult – the mindset shift. Getting things straight in my mind was very challenging for me, especially when I first started out.
Well-meaning friends and family would ask things like, “You’ve been doing this online thing for a weeks now, so why can’t you pay your bills with it yet?”
Ugh!
When you are stuck in employee-mindset mode, those types of questions are horrible and defeating… and it’s hard to handle that. Those questions lead to feelings of (dare I say it)  failure and are very de-motivational. In fact, I know plenty of people who have quit affiliate marketing because they were not living up to the expectations of those around them who spoke from an employee-mindset.
Once I started reading and learning from those that lived outside the employee-mindset, things got tremendously easier for me. Sure, the learning curve is challenging and the changes online fly at me each day at an amazing rate, but that is not the hard part.
The hard part, for me, was learning to change my mindset to accept that this is what it’s like to be a business owner. That change in mindset was freeing… empowering even… and things suddenly became much easier.
Starting a home based business as an affiliate marketer is not the same as starting a job as an employee. In one to four weeks you have your first check for just showing up to work and working eight to sixteen hours a day. As a home based entrepreneur you probably won't make a dime the first month as an affiliate marketer. The "instant gratification" mindset of the employee will not serve the affiliate marketer very well at all. There is no financial "instant gratification" for the home based entrepreneur. However time is on the side of the affiliate marketer who stays committed and puts forth consistent effort to build his or her network marketing business. Employees will never have ""residual income" being able to make more money only if their employer gives them a pay raise. Once the network marketing entrepreneur builds an active downline of a few committed entrepreneurs like themselves the "sky is the limit" when it comes to the financial gain from network marketing "residual income". To be a successful affiliate marketer and home business entrepreneur let go of the "employee mindset".

Have Fun In Affiliate Marketing.

Success in affiliate marketing includes having fun!

Affiliate Marketing Works

I love affiliate marketing because it reduces my workload. When a product is created, it means the person creating the product has done some basic research to identify the need. No one creates a product that they know has no market. So that leaves one with the task of only finding the customers in need. There are a number of ways that is done - but that is not the focus of this article. The emphasis is on the fact that affiliate marketing gives us an opportunity to earn money without having to create the products ourselves. And that should be very good news to those of us who are just starting out into the world of internet business and we do not have sufficient resources to do market research and create our own products.
All you do is sign up to an affiliate program. Grab your affiliate link. Then promote, promote and promote your affiliate link until you begin to make sales. By the time you sign up for an affiliate program, you will have made sure that there is demand for the product you want to promote and it is a product worth promoting otherwise your credibility is on the line.

As in the world of e-commerce in general, business owners and creators make the most money and rightly so. If you can't afford to start your own business or create your own products the ndext best thing is affiliate marketing for other businesses or product creators.  In affiliate marketing money can be made in product sales and by sponsoring other affiliate  marketers. You should leverage both income streams to  make the most money in affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a great business model for working class people to supplement their income and even to replace the income from a "regular" job. The key is finding a good affiliate program with good products or services to offer the public. Do your homework and go for it. Affiliate marketing works if you work affiliate marketing.

Knowledge And Passion Sells

Top Seven Best Affiliate Marketing Tips

In affiliate marketing it is imperative to know the niche and product or service you are promoting. Ideally, along with this knowledge you should have a passion for your chosen niche, product or service. Ultimately people join other people, not affiliate programs. It is your perceived personal knowledge of and passion for what you promote that will move others to become a customer or business partner. More than likely people have seen the program, product or service you promote hundreds of times being promoted by others. If they decide to join it will be because of you or your online "brand" not just the program, product or service you are promoting. Knowledge and passion sells more than banners and splash pages.

The Money Is In The System

Why would you want to get inspiration from corporate marketing methods for your internet marketing efforts? Quite simply, they work. Without reaching out to prospective buyers regularly, a corporation will not be able to generate revenue and will not be able to sustain itself. Promoting a product is just as important for internet marketers as it is for their corporate counterparts, even though the internet marketer will likely be working on a smaller scale.
Three Components to Marketing
Corporations know that their marketing efforts can be broken down into three distinct components:
  • Finding customers
  • Satisfying the customers’ needs
  • Keeping customers
(Please click on the keyword "marketing" to read the full article)

Though we are simple home based online marketers there is much we can learn from successful corporate Big Business marketing focused on finding, serving and keeping customers. The key components of successful corporate marketing is the business brand and it's product or service. Coke and Microsoft for example are both a brand and a quality product in great competition with similar products. On a smaller scale we as online marketers are a brand and a product needing customers and referrals to have money making success in competition with millions of other online marketers. It still boils down to finding, serving and keeping customers and referrals.
The best way to accomplish this marketing agenda is to have a system. Does the affiliate program you promote have a real "marketing system" that fulfills the objectives of finding, serving and keeping customers/referrals? If your affiliate program or home business doesn't have a system, then find or create one that does because when it come to both corporate businesses and individual home businesses indeed "the money is in the system" of finding, serving and keeping customers/referrals.

Get Serious About LinkedIn

LinkedIn has rapidly risen to popularity amongst consumers and businesses alike. Alongside Twitter and Facebook, it has become a vital element in the marketer’s social media toolbox.

However, it’s fair to say that LinkedIn is more useful to some than others. LinkedIn is great if your clientele are businesses, if you are a freelancer, if you are seeking career opportunities, or you’re a business seeking new recruits. It’s not so useful if your prime social media focus is fun and humour.

LinkedIn can be valuable for building links and driving traffic to your blogs and website.  But you can do this on Facebook and Twitter right? Yes, but LinkedIn is focussed on business and developing your professional connections. People on LinkedIn are actively thinking about their company, their career, and how to build them. In fact, it’s a must have for those seeking career opportunities as well as those primarily focused on sales and B2B interactions
(Please click on the keyword "LinkedIn" to read the full article)

For a long while I  stayed away from LinkedIn because of my perception of this social site as one for employees seeking jobs and employers seeking new hires. However now I find LinkedIn to be a great place for online affiliate marketers. Being an associate, distributor or sales agent of a company that markets using MLM affiliates is just as valid as being a paid or salaried employee and LinkedIn apparently recognizes this fact. LinkedIn is not about fun and games but LinkedIn is all about serious business networking. Get serious about LinkedIn.
