In affiliate marketing it is imperative to know the niche and product or service you are promoting. Ideally, along with this knowledge you should have a passion for your chosen niche, product or service. Ultimately people join other people, not affiliate programs. It is your perceived personal knowledge of and passion for what you promote that will move others to become a customer or business partner. More than likely people have seen the program, product or service you promote hundreds of times being promoted by others. If they decide to join it will be because of you or your online "brand" not just the program, product or service you are promoting. Knowledge and passion sells more than banners and splash pages.
