    Yes, Virginia, there is social media etiquette or good manners. The near anonymity of the Internet does not negate the necessity for good manners. Social media etiquette includes not being "smammy", selling or promoting all the time, looking at and sharing what others have to offer as well as not stealing others content as your own. Social media etiquette is essentially following the Golden Rule of doing unto others what you would have them do unto you.
