What can we use Social Media for?

  9. An alternative to a website
  10. Monitor your brand awareness
Whether we like to admit it or not, social media is now a major part of our lives. From our homes, phones, businesses, educational systems and now health and not for profit sectors, we simply cannot escape the power of this major communicative tool.

Networking using social media is free but very challenging and time consuming. Surfing on traffic exchanges and  safe list e-mails is time consuming with usually some cost for upgraded status but are not as effective as social media. As a matter of fact , the most progressive TE's and list mailers are now incorporating social media into their programs. This year I am keeping my surfing and safe list mailing to a minimum while expanding my time and attention to using Twitter, Facebook, blogs and social sites to find business partners and customers. Things always change and social media is the new marketing frontier.
