The reasons for me to be on Twitter aren’t to send one tweet back and forth or to follow someone and to leave it at that. Like in real life it takes time and effort to build something meaningful.

My understanding and appreciation of Twitter has really evolved over the years. Initially I saw Twitter has little "micro blogs" telling the whole world what you ate for dinner or how your toddler used the potty the first time. Later I saw it as a way to succinctly express my  political views. Finally I saw Twitter as a great way to advertise my Biz-Ops and programs. Now I see Twitter as a medium to really connect and share with others in genuine business relationships. The above article points out some great ways to build Twitter relationships.
