Being truly productive online marketing and social networking can be a challenge simply because of being on the Internet with all the myriad distractions we run across in browsing. I am a political junkie and even though I keep my politics separate from my marketing, it's hard not to go off on a politics tangent instead of TE surfing or networking on some social media site. Another distraction for me is babysitting one of my Grandchildren. When she was a newborn infant she was no problem because she slept a lot but now since she is a three year old toddler there is very little sleeping and a lot of "play with me GrandDaddy". I probably have five minutes to finish this blog before she crawls on top of my shoulders while I'm sitting at my desk. However I love this precious distraction and it won't be long before she goes to pre-school. No more distractions! Then I can apply the great productivity tips in the above article. I will be more productive in 2012! How about you?
