You can very call that as things instead of requirements, capital or investments. A home based business commands nothing more than the necessity of a few amenities that can help run your business. All you have to look out for is what and how the client will interact with us and what will the client expect from us!

Clients do not look for a superior infrastructure the moment you mention yourself as a home based business owner. So, the necessity for an investment is ruled out but the same client doesn’t want you to be on a mountain top singing with the birds while the clouds brush past! Let us look into what are the things that you need to start your own business!

Some times we tend to forget that online marketing is a real business. Social networking using social media such as blogs are elements of a real business. Just because we work from home instead of a brick  and mortar building on a piece of property somewhere doesn't mean we don't have a real business. The above article didn't tell me something I didn't know when it comes to the tools necessary for a home based business but it did remind me to use those tools, particularly the phone! One of my New Year's resolutions is to use the phone much more extensively in my networking and online marketing. That will be a major change for me because I am not a "phone  person". However now I have had the epiphany that you can't be a real businessman without being a "phone person" because increased sales, contacts and business partners come from using the phone. That's just the "nature of the beast" when it comes to a profitable home based business.
